Emily Ratajkowski’s Trend On Micro Mini Skirt Trend Is All About A Statement Print

Welcome to NYLON’s Fit Picks, a weekly roundup of our favorite celebrity outfits.

Temperatures may be dropping as the winter season approaches, but that doesn’t stop some of our favorite celebs from jumping on the miniskirt trend right now. The latest famous face to have tried on this popular garment is Emily Ratajkowski, who has made appearances in London to promote her new book, My body. During her visit to Battersea Arts Center, the model-turned-author wore a snug, comfy fit, including a fur coat and mini skirt in a matching zebra print from the Michael Kors collection. She paired her warm look with an Isabel Marant turtleneck in black and red high boots by Jimmy Choo. To top off her look, she wore a fluffy black bob – a very wintery trend – by Emma Brewin.

Ratajkowsi is the latest stylish celebrity to co-sign micro miniskirts, which will likely gain even more popularity next year when the weather warms up again. The fashion trend of the year 2000 is slowly making a comeback, to be solidified by Miu Miu and her own spring 2022 collection with the coveted ‘out’ style. Ratajkowsi joins fellow micro-mini skirt fans Megan Fox, Rihanna, Dua Lipa and most recently Bella Hadid, who has become fashion nostalgic by wearing a second-hand mini skirt from Abercrombie & Fitch, another early days favorite that’s getting back on everyone’s style radar.
